Railway tickets are going to be available through Cash on Delivery at our door steps.Indian Railways (IRCTC) has taken this step of ing railway tickets through Cash on Delivery. So that we can book railway tickets online and we will get the tickets at our door step.Upto now the shoping products are having this type of Cash on Delivery system.From now onwards, Indain Railways(IRCTC) taken this decision to provide tickets through cash on delivery.Indian Railways targeted the people who are not using their debit ,credit cards and Internet Banking facilities.
A senior IRCTC official who involved in the project said that “One has to just book the Railway tickets online and the payments will be made at the time of delivery of tickets” .
This scheme is already launched and available in almost 200 cities across India.Users should book the tickets 5 days before the journey.The delivery charges will be Rs 40 for Sleeper Class ticket and Rs 60 for AC class ticket. Bookmytrain.com which belongs to Anduril Technologies through their website and Mobile app they are going to provide these cash on delivery services.
